HOUSE ARREST DISPATCH: THE LATEST WORK
Some recent work that was written in a world that now feels very far away. But we’re all inside now, in case you’re dreaming about Argentina or obsession over clothes.
La Bamba de Areco is an incredible estancia an hour outside Buenos Aires. It’s where had one of the great grilled asada lunches of my life and channeled my inner Gaucho and rode an enormous horse (I am an equestrian novice). It seems very far away now, but something to dream about when this is all over. Via Relais Châteaux.
I have a new column for Artful Living about dressing for the beach and the danger of clothes that shout: “We’re going to have a good time even if we die trying.” For those of you in northern climes I wrote one a fe months ago about dressing in the winter and a cardigan that looks like it belonged to your grandfather, if your grandfather was Tolstoy.
A few more from the archive:
-One for Drake’s making the case for bold ties.
-A truly ancient story from A Continuous Lean about a certain cocktail.
Stay safe out there, kids!
