David Coggins is the author of The Believer: A Year in the Fly Fishing Life (Scribner). He writes The Contender newsletter, and co-hosts Central Division podcast with Michael Williams. His previous books are The Optimist, Men and Manners and the New York Times bestseller Men and Style. He writes about fly fishing for the Robb Report, and his work has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Esquire and the Financial Times, among other publications. He lives in New York.
